Two weeks ago, Thankful Thursday raised more than $5,700 for Cheyenne Lions Club. Last week, Habitat for Humanity was up to bat. And this week, we're looking forward to raising money for H.O.P.E.--Hispanic Organization for Progress and Education.

H.O.P.E. strives to make a positive difference in the educational success for Hispanics at all levels. They support Hispanic students to get the training and education they need to achieve their goals.  They show their support by providing college and/or higher education scholarships to deserving Hispanic students in the area.

We’re getting down to the nitty gritty for Thankful Thursday at the Redwood Lounge on East Lincolnway. Only 26 Coors Light aluminum bottles left a(ll have prizes, but one bottle has $500).  Be sure and stop by Central Bank and Trust at 3060 East Lincolnway, just down the street from the Redwood Lounge, to pick up the “Thankful Thursday Word of the Week,” for your shot at $200.

There’ll be drink specials, all sorts of auction items and lots of fun, all to raise money for H.O.P.E.  The fun gets underway at 4:30 p.m. at the Redwood Lounge, 2105 East Lincolnway.  See you there!
