The 2015-16 slate for sixth year head coach Larry Shyatt and the young Wyoming Cowboys is here.

The defending Mountain West tournament champion Cowboys will play 16 times in the Arena-Auditorium. It features seven non-conference home dates and the usual nine during Mountain West play.

The non-conference portion of the slate is highlighted by the Cal Bears making their first ever visit to Laramie on Dec. 5. Some pundits believe the Bears will be a preseason top 10 squad.

Wyoming will play two Border Wars with Montana State within a week. The Pokes face the Bobcats in Billings, MT on Nov. 22 before a rematch in Laramie on Nov. 28. The Cowboys will also travel to Denver and New Mexico State. They conclude non-league action in the Global Sports Classic in Las Vegas, Dec. 21 and 22.

Action in the MW opens Dec. 30 with a rematch of the tournament championship game, as the Cowboys play at San Diego State. Some notable home Saturday games within the MW include UNLV on Jan. 9, Boise State on Jan. 23, Colorado State on Jan. 30 and Utah State on Feb. 6.

Wyoming's one-time conference opponents next season are New Mexico and Utah State. The Cowboys will only travel to Albuquerque and not face them at home, while they get the Aggies in Laramie, but don't visit Logan, UT.

The MW tournament is March 9-12 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
