It's CFD week and thousands of thirsty tourists will be crowding into Cheyenne's restaurants and taverns. There's plenty of places to find a good meal or a drink here in the Capital City, but there's only a few spots with a great outdoor patio.

Here's our completely subjective list of the 5 best patios in Cheyenne:

1. Cheyenne Brewing Company - Hands down the biggest, and the best, outdoor dining area in town. You can sit in front of the historic Cheyenne Depot looking out at the Depot Plaza. Or, if you don't mind a little noise, you can grab a seat on the back patio and watch the trains come and go.

2. The Morris House Bistro - This quaint, historic house is home to one of the most unique upscale restaurants in town. It ranks first out of 153 local restaurants on Trip Advisor. Getting a seat can be tough on a busy night, but the garden style patio setting is a great way to enjoy a beautiful summer evening.

3. The Suite Bistro - This patio is hidden gem in the heart of downtown Cheyenne and on most nights, you can have it all to yourself. But first, you have to find it. It's located behind the building on 19th and Central, past the patio seating on the sidewalk and around the corner. Just make sure to tell you server where you're sitting. Bonus points for the totally random palm tree mural.

4. Steamboat's Steak and Smokehouse - You'll find all the big chain restaurants on Del Range, but there's one place that feels like Wyoming. It's a new school take on old west decor. In the summertime, the patio is like sitting on a deck at a log cabin...until you look out at the busy street.

5. (Tie) El Charrito's Mexican Grill - This historic downtown building, located next to the Nagle Warren Mansion, has two different outdoor patio areas. One side is an enclosed patio that they've converted into a Mexican style cantina. The other side is open to the street. The only drawback is the view. While you're sipping on a margarita, feeling that cool evening breeze, you'll look out...at a fast food parking lot.

5. (Tie) Alf's Pub - A year ago, this neighborhood bar wouldn't have made the list. However, after making recent renovations, Alf's has stepped up its game and now boasts one of the coolest covered patios in town.
