How this movie about the good old Cowboy State, which was released over two years ago, managed to fly below our radar is lost on us.

The Cokeville Miracle is based in part on the tragic events that took place at the Cokeville Elementary School back on May 16th, 1986. It was a hostage situation that ended in a bomb going off and one of the perpetrators killing his wife before turning the gun on himself.

Luckily, there were no other casualties. However many of the children that were hostages that day claimed to have been protected by and some even being instructed by angels.

Although the movie was not considered a blockbuster, considering it's significance in Wyoming history, we're still shocked it didn't receive at least a statewide push.
