Yesterday morning saw the sun starting to shine on the capitol city and it was a beautiful day that got us up into the 70s. Both of these shots were taken just two minutes after sunrise (6:44 this morning) and we'll be in the 60's with some rain.

We're losing 2 minutes and 32 seconds of daylight per day right now, but in three days, the Autumnal Equinox, the days will become shorter than the nights, until on the winter solstice, December 22, we have the shortest day and the longest night of the year.
