If you've ever been lucky enough to attend a concert there, you already know that Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado, is one of the very best venues on earth. But did you know it's also haunted?

According to local legend, the iconic structure has been home to several ghosts since it first hosted public performances way back in 1906.

The most popular story involves the ghost of an old miner who is said to appear for brief moments brandishing a bottle of booze.

Employees at the Red Rocks Trading Post, which is adjacent to the Amphitheater in the park, have long reported the presence of several ghosts on site, particularly in the building's basement.

Then there's the spirit of a headless woman riding on a horse. She's sometimes seen brandishing a bloody hatchet. Many believe her ghost patrols the park at night, protecting the area from trouble.
