‘The Hitching Post Inn: Wyoming’s Second Capitol’ Book Signing 5 to 7 Today

What are your favorite memories of The Hitching Post Inn?

Local author Sue Castaneda has gathered together some history and great photos of Cheyenne's iconic hotel on West Lincolnway and will be signing books at the Wyoming State Museum in the Barrett Building, 2301 Central Avenue, from 5 to 7 today.Only 1,000 limited edition copies of 'The Hitching Post Inn: Wyoming's Second Capitol' will be available. The new book was produced by the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association and the Wyoming State Archives.

Musician Michael Degreve, who entertained in the lobby of The Hitching Post Inn for more than 30 years, will be playing music at the event. Degreve is also scheduled to play at The Crown Bar in downtown Cheyenne on Tuesday, December 11.
