Wyoming is on the global stage with Cheyenne Frontier Days as people from around the world come in search of the romance of the west and the iconic American cowboy. With thousands coming in for The Daddy Of Them All, Cheyenne puts it’s shine on with the help of a huge army of volunteers. They are the engine that drives this great effort on so many fronts and levels.

Some positions and contributions are high profile and visible, others are done more in the background, out of sight. But make no mistake, they are as important and valuable and together, all the gears mesh and the great show goes off for another year.

It is with sincere gratitude that I say thank you to all who make CFD such a great event, and Cheyenne such a great city to live in. It’s why my wife and I moved here, for the giving spirit of this city.

Here is one of the volunteers at the Fort D A Russell Days WW-2 Living History exhibit at F E Warren Air Force Base.
