The Ski & Snowboard Season Is On

While we were just putting up with hot weather just a few weeks ago, our high country is getting snow. And just to the south in Colorado, natural snow augmented by man-made snow allowed Arapaho Basin to be the 1st ski area to open for the 2013 - 2014 season.

About a thousand people took to the slopes to play on just the one open run, in mid 30s temperatures. Loveland Ski Area expects to be open within days, weather permitting.
