Cheyenne Frontier Days(CFD) and the City of Cheyenne will once again host the annual Fourth of July celebration with free live entertainment and fireworks at Frontier Park Arena.

Headlining this year’s show is Tops in Blue, the Air Force’s premier entertainment group.

Tops in Blue is comprised of a diverse group of talented active duty personnel, including vocalists, musicians, dancers, comedians and magicians. Tops in Blue was founded in 1953 by Major Al Reilly (retired as a Colonel) via the Air Force Worldwide Talent Contest to recognize talented airmen in various performance categories.

His idea was to discover the highest caliber of entertainment and provide it for Air Force families throughout the world, thus the phrase “family entertaining family” was first adopted.

To date, Tops in Blue has traveled over four million miles to military bases throughout the world, performed at six World Fairs, more than 100 state fairs and festivals, and performed at countless air shows, military balls and special events.

The park opens at 5:30 p.m. Entertainment begins at 6:30 p.m. with opening act, the Country Club Band. Tops in Blue will take the stage at 8 p.m., followed by the fireworks show at 9:35 p.m.

General Chairman Darin Westby said Cheyenne Frontier Days is proud to host the event at Frontier Park. “I would like to thank the many volunteers who organized this incredible event. It is a great way to celebrate our country's independence with our community.”

“We are really looking forward to the fireworks portion of the show,” Foley said. “In addition to lighting up the sky, we have plans for some lower level fireworks that will only be visible from the park. It’s going to be really spectacular.”

This event is free and open to the community. There is no charge for parking.
