Dangerously strong winds are causing travel restrictions on Interstates 80 and 25 at midday on Friday, although at last report neither highway was completely closed.

That's according to the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) website. The website says I-25 is closed to light, high profile vehicles between Cheyenne and Glendo. Travel on that stretch of Interstate 25 carries an extreme blow over risk, according to WYDOT.

Those same restrictions are in place on Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Walcott Junction, with travel on that stretch of highway also carrying an extreme blow ever risk designation.
