Spring's on the way, what are you planting in your garden?

This week at the Cheyenne Botanic Gardens' Paul Smith Children's Village they are using egg cartons to grow kid's imaginations, turning them into greenhouses, maracas and something to help an egg survive the egg drop.On Tuesday, March 19, kids can learn to make a simple greenhouse from an egg carton at 4 p.m., all materials are supplied and the cost is $1. Then you can pick what you want to plant in your greenhouse.

Wednesday, March 20, at 4 p.m. you can create a musical art masterpiece. Make egg maracas to play and for decoration. The cost is $1.

You can register now for the Egg Drop science experiment on Thursday, March 21, at 4 p.m. at the Children's Village. Build a structure that can protect an egg from a fall. The cost is $5, call 637-6349 to pre-register or for more information.
