Two more restaurants in downtown Cheyenne closed their doors this month.

El Poblano Mexican Resturant lasted less than a year after moving into the building on 1720 Capitol Avenue. Prior to their launch in April of 2016, the downtown space had been home to Mitchell's BBQ.

Just over a year ago, another downtown Mexican restaurant, Los Abuelos, closed after occupying the historic Bell Building on 1601 Central Avenue since 2013. The space remains vacant.

Meanwhile, Quizno's has pulled the plug on their downtown Cheyenne location at 200 East 17th Street. The Denver-based national sandwich chain has closed over 400 franchises across the country since filing for bankruptcy in 2014.

Based on reviews from the website Trip Advisor, El Poblano was ranked 68th out of 146 restaurants in Cheyenne. Quizno's was ranked 118th.
