A U.S.  Environmental Protection Agency official is defended a draft EPA report that theorizes gas industry activity including hydraulic fracturing may have polluted groundwater in Pavillion,  Wyoming.  Union Pacific says it was more profitable in 2010 than ever before due in part to coal shipments from Wyoming’s Powder River basin.
