UW Cowgirls Host N. Colorado In WNIT Thursday [VIDEO]

Wyoming is back in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament and the Cowgirls will host Northern Colorado on Thursday in the first round. The game is set to tip off at 7 p.m. at Arena-Auditorium.  I dug up this clip of the WNIT “Beer Song” just in case you need a refresher…enjoy!

This is the sixth time the Cowgirls have appeared in the postseason under head coach Joe Legerski. The Cowgirls won the 2007 WNIT title and earned a bid to the NCAA tournament in 2008.  Wyoming enters the tournament with a 24-7 record.

The Bears are 20-12. They are a member of the Big Sky Conference.

The winner will play either Seattle or St. Mary’s in the next round. (AP)
