The Cheyenne Veterans Affairs Medical Center  will hold free flu shot clinics next week.

Clinics will be held in Laramie on Monday, Oct. 6; Wheatland on Wednesday, Oct. 8; and Torrington on Thursday, Oct. 9. The Flu Shot Clinics are for all registered Veterans and will be administered at no charge to the Veteran.

“We want everyone to get the flu shot,” said Anne Duda, assistant nurse manager of ambulatory care and event organizer. “We received our shipment of vaccine late last week, and are excited to see our Veterans get vaccinated as quickly as possible, before the flu season hits.”

Veterans who are unable to make the Flu Shot Clinics, will be able to get a free vaccination during their next scheduled appointment, or can schedule an appointment through their patient aligned care team.

Additional clinics are being held in Sterling, Colo., on Oct. 7; Greeley, Colo., on Oct. 11; and Ft. Collins, Colo., on Oct. 18.

The VA hospital in Cheyenne will hold a Flu Shot Clinic for all registered Veterans on Wednesday, Oct. 8 from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the facility auditorium.
