We've been talking about it for a few weeks, but today it's official: Verizon has rolled out 4G service throughout the Cheyenne metro area.

According to Verizon's coverage map, nearly all of Cheyenne should have native 4G service south of Four Mile Road, west to Warren Air Force Base and south to Terry Ranch Road, Wyo. Highway 221. Heading east, coverage extends further, nearly to the Archer Complex.

Pete has been getting sporadic 4G on his HTC Thunderbolt for some time now. If you've got a Verizon 4G device, we'd be interested to hear if you're getting the faster speeds promised by the new technology. Drop us line at digitalcowboys@townsquaremedia.com.
