You've heard it before and now you are hearing it again, prices for Verizon customers are going up again. This time, the increase for many consumers will be about $20 a month.

The price jump will go from 29.99 a month to 49.99 a month, and that's just for the unlimited data plan.

With unlimited data plans only being a part of their total phone bill, customers may see a total of $110 extra on their already expensive phone bill.

Verizon has stated that less than 1% of customers who are not under contract and who still have the old, unlimited plan. These customers won't see a price increase on their bill until renewal time.

Many wireless providers have been shying away from unlimited data plans as they cannot manage the network's bandwidth as consumers use more data.
