Walgreens Delayed In Filling Scrips Due To A Power Outage

If you use Walgreen's to fill prescriptions, you may have to wait a bit before you receive them. That's because they experienced a power outage, slowing progress. The pharmaceutical giant has been filling prescriptions the old fashioned way which is manually since their systems went down on Tuesday.

Jim Cohn, Walgreen's spokesman, has apologized for any inconvenience this may have caused their customers. He stated that the company had experienced technical issues with the pharmacy systems, but their pharmacies are still able to fill the prescriptions and process most insurance claims.

The company states that their staff is working diligently to fix the problem.
