You won't believe all the ads in the paper and on-line, Frontier Day's goers looking for rooms, RV spaces and hook-ups, homes and apartments for rent.

With even Lincolnway hotel rooms going for over $200 a night and booked months ago, there is no room at the inn for Cheyenne Frontier Days. There is a compendium of ads on line on Craig list, in the paper and more with locals renting RV spaces and hooks up with power and sewer for $500 per week. Some are renting rooms for hundreds per night.

I've heard about locals who live near the grounds charging for daily parking in their yards and one place where you can stay north of Cheyenne with an RV or tent and they shuttle you to the events. I told my wife we have the room in the backyard alley for two RV's, maybe we should get in on the gold.

No matter where you stay, get ready for the fun and frolic in Cheyenne Frontiers Days fun starting next week.
