Mondelez Global, LLC, the company responsible for the Oreo brand cookies, has sent out a recall to consumers. The recall is 'out of abundance of caution.'

The potential problem with one of our favorite cookies is that there may be milk in them, which can cause allergies in some children. The information on the packages where 'mislabeled' and the company is taking precaution.

According to the cookie makers, "People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk, run the risk of serious, life-threatening allergic reactions, if they consume this product."

As of now, only one person has reported having an allergic reaction to the cookies.
