Depending on where you live, you know that mowing the lawn on your property is going to be an activity for at least 3 months out of the year. Here are some tips to help you do that.  You might think that it's going to save you time by butchering your lawn to the lowest level possible without killing it. Actually, according to move horticulturists, this is a big misnomer.

Depending on the length of your grass, it's good to only cut about 1/3 of the full length of the grass blades. There are a few reasons for this. One reason is that it won't shock the grass.

Another reason, is because it actually grows slower when you cut it this way. It also helps the grass to maintain moisture and maintain a healthy root system. The grass helps to keep the scorching levels down too.

If you maintain good grass levels, you will see your grass thrive and look healthy. Make sure to water your grass on a regular basis. Make sure that there are not water rationing ordinances set by your city, to avoid being fined too.
