Welcome To Spring

Chuck Geiger/Townsquare Media

We made it. Today is the first day of Spring and the sun is out.

Winter started for me in mid-September in Alaska. We had a cold spell with some light snow from the end of September to October. I arrived in Cheyenne on Dec 2, 2013 and the first week was those bone chilling temps and snow. This is the longest winter for almost everyone.. and we are sick and tired of it.

I am wearing my Hawaiian shirt to celebrate the coming of Spring. We have a nice first day of Spring with temps in the mid to high 50s. OK, so it’s not the 70s, but we can dream at least for a day. Snow is predicted again Friday night into Saturday.
