Are you wearing red or blue today?

In High School football it's East against Central at 5 p.m. at Okie Blanchard Stadium on Pershing for bragging rights in the Capitol City.

Here's 2 Rock and Roll Hall of Famer's modeling the colors; Ronnie Spector elected in 2007, and Madonna inducted in 2008.

A Tailgate Party will be held in the parking lot of Okie Blanchard starting at 3:30 with music, games, face painting and hamburgers and hot dogs. Come out and support your favorite team.
Admittance to the football game will be free for students from an East or Central Triad School. Students are also invited onto the field before the game to form the tunnel to welcome the team starters. If you want to be on the field, they ask that you be at Okie Blanchard by 4:45 p.m.

We are split at our house. I graduated from Central, so go Indians! My wife graduated from East and my daughter goes to school there, so go Thunderbirds!
