Every few months someone puts out a study about the most watched show on Netflix. A few months back we published a story about Wyoming's favorite show to binge watch which was Supernatural. Now we have a new study and a new favorite show.

iZombie was the most streamed show in Wyoming in 2016, according to HighSpeedInternet.com. The show feels similar to Buffy The Vampire Slayer where the drama is laced with off-wit humor and action scenes. The main character is a zombie who solves crimes by eating the brains of murder victims. The cerebral matter allows her to see visions of their demise.

HighSpeedInternet.com put together this map and did a comprehensive study of what people watch on Netflix state by state. Kaz Weida wrote about the Cowboy State:

West Virginia and Wyoming both like zombie themed content, with its emphasis on doomsday scenarios. Both states also fall neatly into the most guns per capita category, so if and when the zombiepocalypse comes, they’ll be ready.

Netflix created a new digital experience since its launch. The DVDs that arrived in the mail have been replaced by streaming video. In some homes, people have replaced cable TV with streaming video services like Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime. In a few more months, we will have different stats and a completely different story.
