Except for the two weeks in July when thousands of CFD visitors take over my neighborhood, I love living close to Lions Park.

On a warm, sunny day, nothing beats taking the dog for a walk along the lake. And if you're there long enough, a plane from the nearby Cheyenne Air National Guard Base might even fly directly over your head.

With that in mind, we want to know what your favorite community park is here in Cheyenne?

Lions Park has the lake, the beach, the paddle boats, and the Botanical Gardens.

Holliday Park has the Big Boy Steam Engine, along with basketball courts, tennis, a pond and hundreds of migrating geese. Legendary actor Steve McQueen also got married there.

Brimmer Park on Pershing has a skate park and softball fields.

Mylar Park on Seminole Road has a pond and disc golf course.

North Park has eight soccer fields, a tree farm and an archery range.

Pioneer Park on Talbot Court has baseball, tennis, basketball and a recreational building.

Then there's South Park, which has a disc golf course, activity center and some cool hills for sledding in the winter.
