Cheyenne Frontier Days is a huge undertaking that wouldn’t / couldn’t happen without volunteers. Luckily, there are literally thousands of people who volunteer their time and talents to make this landmark event come to life. Some are so dedicated to ensuring success, that they take vacation time just to work for the good of the event and our town.

I liked these two ladies at F.E. Warren Air Force Base during Fort D.A. Russell Days. They invested time and money in the costumes and the materials and knowledge so they could bring the old days to life for today’s young children.

At the end of the clip, a woman refers to a teeth whitening adventure, to which someone in the crowd off camera later referred to the use of urine in the old days. I think they would have opted for twigs, pine needles, herbs and mint.
