Did you buy any new music in 2010? It seemed like there was a lot of great music released last year and much of it was from our favorite classic rockers.

Tom Petty got back together with the Heartbreakers and put out their first album in eight years called Mojo. It's nominated for the Best Rock Album Grammy.

Also nominated in that category is Neil Young's new one from last year Le Noise and the single Angry World is up for Best Rock Song.

Guitar god Eric Clapton released his 20th studio album simply named Clapton in September of 2010 and a song from that, Run Back To Your Side, could win a Grammy Award for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance.

Nominated for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals is the Rocket Man's tune If It Wasn't for Bad from the album The Union on which he teams up with fellow keyboardist Leon Russell.

Santana released a disc of covers called Guitar Heaven: The Greatest Guitar Classics of All Time that includes Cream's Sunshine Of Your Love with help again from Rob Thomas of Matchbox 20.

The two new CD's I bought last year were blues man Buddy Guy's Living Proof and Robert Plant's Band of Joy and am thoroughly enjoying them both.

Overall 2010 was a productive year for classic rockers. What was your favorite new release?
