There's a lot of things to do and see at Cheyenne Frontier Days. For kids, the star of the show is the midway.

We want to know, what's the best carnival ride at CFD this year?

Here are condenders:

Super Shot

One of the tallest rides on the midway. After you're strapped into the Super Shot, you slowly rise to the top...then they pull the pen and you free fall back down.

Zero Gravity

It doesn't look as menacing as many of the other rides, but Zero Gravity is no joke. First you spin around, then they turn the wheel on its side. Probably not a good bet if you suffer from motion sickness.

Tornado

As its name suggests, the Tornado spins you around while the ride rotates and leans in different directions. You'll definitely be dizzy when you get off this ride.

Cliff Hanger

If you've never been hang gliding, this is as close as you'll get. To simulate the experience, you are strapped in horitzontally, facing down, as the wheel spins and rotates.

Vertigo

If you're afraid of heights, Vertigo isn't the ride for you. You're strapped into a chair, dangling in midair and spinning around WAY above the ground.

Alien Abduction

It's definitely the flashiest ride on the midway and one of the most popular. Similar to Zero Gravity, Alien Abducton spins you around in circles. It's an enclosed ride, which combines with the cool lighting for an out of this world ride.

Spin Out

If there's one ride I would be afraid to go on, it's Spin Out. It's tall, it's fast, and it spins and rotates in every direction, nearly turning you upside down.

Ferris Wheel

Of course, no list of carnival rides is complete without the trusty Ferris Wheel. There's something really cool about the view from high above Frontier Days. As you look down at the midway, stadium and fairgrounds, it really puts the enormity of the entire production into a new perspective.

Now, it's your turn. You've seen the contenders. You may have even ridden a few of them. What do YOU think is the best ride on the midway at CFD this year?
