If you live in the Cheyenne city limits, recycling your live Christmas tree is easy.

Cheyenne residents can take their natural Christmas tree to the City’s Compost Facility at 3714 Windmill Road (map) at no charge. There will be a large roll-off container outside the front gate for those who wish to drop their natural trees off after business hours.

Please remove all decorations from the tree.

The facility is open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday. Expect December 31 and January 1, 2020.

For more information, contact the Cheyenne Sanitation Division at (307) 637-6440.
