Maybe you saw the best burger joints in 50 college towns. First, ours is not really a burger. It's a place with a totally awesome bison burger.

It's just that our winner is nowhere in our part of the Cowboy State. It's on the Snake River in Jackson. Even if the judges were just making bison a joke about us, did they even check Laramie?

Bison burger is cool, though, right? And as for best hamburger, we've done that. It was fun, but maybe over done.

So here it comes. Where Is Our Best Bison Burger in Cheyenne?

The Senator’s Restaurant & Brass Buffalo Saloon – You can’t get any closer to the source than Terry Bison Ranch, likely the best selection of bison, but a bison burger is not really on the menu (though we're betting they'll make you one). The bison chili is a favorite to start.

Wyoming’s Rib and Chop House – In the heart of downtown is a signature 32 oz. bison rib-eye. It's been called the most tender and flavorful ever. Order on the medium rare side for it to be its best.

Poor Richard’s – A Cheyenne landmark, with the menu gems all bison: a burger, even bison sliders, and a bison top sirloin. Oh yeah, we're all in.

On the west side at Little America Hotel and Resort, and I've had this one, myself, more than once. So I can say Hathaway's Restaurant serves a good Buffalo Burger.

So does the Little Bear Inn, which is just north of Cheyenne.

Or the Diamond Horseshoe on the south side.

If we missed one you know, chances are others know it, and will likely also vote for it if you add it to this open poll. Who knows, yours could be the winner.
