Two bodies were discovered in Lander, Wyoming on a Saturday following Halloween 2015, after local neighbors called and said they had not seen anyone at home for 'several days.' So who did it?

When an unsolved murder happens, it's always a sad day. But when it happens on Halloween, it tends to ask the question, was it a preordained crime and related to activities involved with the scariest time of the year?

A 41-year-old Lander woman and her 5-year-old son were found in their home by law enforcement after neighbors phoned in concerns.

Lander Police Chief Bob Cercie said that, based on evidence on the scene, officers entered the home of the woman and found two dead bodies.

As far as we know, no arrests have been made and police were going to interview friends and family to try and get a handle on what happened. But the question remains, who killed the Lander woman and her son on Oct. 31, 2015?

According to the Fremont County Coroner, Mark Stratmoen, "it was ruled a homicide - suicide."
