An official with the Wyoming Highway Patrol is reminding motorists to keep an eye out for snowplows on state roads and highways this fall.

Sgt. Duane Ellis says that even though the plows are large yellow,  slow moving vehicles with several lights that would seem to be easily visible, every winter there are collisions between the plows and automobiles, sometimes with tragic results. Ellis says anytime you see a plow clearing a highway or road you should slowdown and proceed with caution.

He reminds motorists the vehicles are working to make the highway safe and should be given plenty of room to operate.
