Just before 5 this morning, the streets had a few inches of fresh powder and the wind was out of the north at 23 mph. My drive in had it hard to see where the lanes were and judging by the quickly disappearing tracks from the other direction, others were also challenged.

blowing snow and much colder with teens and low 20s today

3 – 4” more snow before tonight

ROAD CONDITIONS:

I-80:

I-80 is closed between Rawlins and Laramie due to adverse conditions, then I-80 is slick with snow, blowing and drifting snow and limited visibility between Laramie and Cheyenne, then slick with strong winds and snow on I-80 east from Cheyenne to the Nebraska state line.
I-25:

I-25 is slick with snowfall strong winds and fog from Cheyenne south to the Colorado state line, I-25 is slick with snowfall between Cheyenne and Chugwater,  then limited visibility from Wheatland north into Casper, I-25 is closed from Casper to Horse Ranch Creek Road, and closed in spots Northbound from there to  north of Kaycee due to adverse weather conditions.

Hwy 85:

Hwy 85 is slick with strong winds, snow and blowing snow between Cheyenne and the Colorado State line,

Hyw 85  is CLOSED between Cheyenne north to Meriden due to a crash
HWY 287:

Hwy 287 is slick with snow, blowing snow and some fog between Laramie and the Colorado State line
