An ATV crash which injured two people Friday near Green River is under investigation, according to Sweetwater County Sheriff Mike Lowell.

The accident was reported a little before 6 p.m. about a half a mile north of the Green River Outdoor Rifle Shooting Range.

A spokesman for the sheriff's office says 23-year-old Kayla Vigil and 25-year-old David Clinton are believed to have been riding the ATV up a steep slope when the vehicle rolled over backward.

Clinton was taken to a Rock Springs hospital for treatment, but Vigil was flown to Salt Lake City with a serious head injury.
