In Southern Australia, The Mayura Station Farm claims to have the best tasting beef in the world, even better than Kobe Beef. What they call Wagu beef, is known for its intense marbling and melt-in-your-mouth texture. It is the most expensive beef in the world.

What sets Scott De Bruin’s Wagyu apart is that theirs is so good because they feed their cattle chocolate and other sweets. The cows seem especially fond of Cadbury chocolate and they eat 4 pounds of it every day.

Farmer De Bruin says “People ask me about the ethics of feeding chocolate to cows. But this way they are happier and taste better. In those last four months, they are really, really happy cows.”

Just a thought for our Wyoming Ranchers, looking to set their product apart.

Still, It makes me think of Michael Keaton in the movie “Night Shift” who thinks you could feed mayonnaise to tuna and skip a step in sandwich making.
