On the way into work, I saw the heaven and hell of our gas prices. A station on Lincolnway (that is usually on the high side) was $1.67. According to GasBuddy.com, the cheapest gas is $1.53 at Sam’s on Dell Range if you have a membership card.

Most everybody else in Cheyenne is charging $1.55 - $1.56 for regular, mostly because China has slowed down their consumption of oil and with the addition of Iran coming back online, there’s a glut of oil on the market.

Gas prices in Wyoming have dropped 7 and a half cents to an average of $1.78 a gallon for regular. That’s bad for Wyoming oil and gas workers, and the businesses that sell to them. But at the pump it feels good to fill up without taking out a second mortgage. All because oil is so cheap.

You can now get two gallons of oil for the price of one gallon of milk.  Despite the savings, I still recommend milk for your cereal.
