Governor Matt Mead, House Speaker Kermit Brown and Senate President Phil Nicholas toured engineering facilities at the University of Wyoming Thursday morning to catch a glimpse of the students and teachers moving engineering education forward across Wyoming.

The group watched UW students demonstrate the technology they work with including the Nao Robot, Raspberry Pi and the Baxter Robot.

A group of educators from across the state was also featured. They were attending a workshop designed to give them science skills that they can take back to their classrooms and use to create engineering projects for students.
