No doubt some young Wyoming fans of Harry Potter will make a little trip south to see The Hogwarts Express roll through the Northside Aztlan Community Center in Fort Collins. On Oct 28, it's a Harry Potter Hogwarts Halloween.

For kids from kindergarten through eighth grade, the haunted halls of Hogwarts should be safe. This involves creating special potions, sampling Butter Beer (non-alcoholic) and wearing a wizard robe is highly encouraged.

Tickets are $15 - online, or at 970-221-6655.

Similarly, back in July Laramie County Library held a special Harry Potter Birthday Party. Youth Services Specialist, Abby Roswell told us, “That event was a great success with about 500 kids here.” Judging from that, in Cheyenne, the Harry Potter Halloween in Fort Collins should be huge.

Volunteers will be needed for that night from 6-9 pm. That’s volunteers as in wizards to instruct magical classes, pour butterbeer, and supervise Quidditch, not to mention maybe decorate as well. For more information about helping, contact Lisa Freeman at lfreeman@fcgov.com.
