Every year, over 10 million tourists will visit wonderful Wyoming. That might sound like a lot, but it's actually one of the lowest tourism rates in the country.

According to a new Thrillist article titled "The Least Visited States in America, and Why You Should Go to Each", only Delaware has fewer visitors than Wyoming.

Of the 10.1 million tourists who pass through the Cowboy State annually, 7 million come to witness the splendor of Yellowstone National Park. The article also cites Jackson Hole and Cheyenne Frontier Days among the state's most popular attractions.

Depending on your perspective, those statistics are either good or bad. Plenty of locals will say that Wyoming already has too many tourists. However, with our access to unrivaled scenic beauty, the state's economy could certainly benefit by promoting Wyoming tourism more aggressively.
