Racial equality is something that America, as a whole, has been working on for decades. When you look at each state's progress, Wyoming makes the top 5.

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. made the statement, "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."

Our friends at WalletHub.com realize that police brutality and other events have caused some turning back on the clock of progress in some states.

The Pew Research Center recently conducted a survey that showed nearly half of U.S. voters, or 46-percent, expect a Trump presidency to worsen race relations. Whether that is true or not, has yet to be seen.

However, Wallet Hub's research shows that Wyoming ranked 5th in the nation in showing improvement in race relations and have been making good progress over the years.

The number one state to show the most improvement in this area was Georgia, while the state showing the least progress was the state of Maine.
