Wyoming Road/School Closures

Due to weather and road conditions, rural schools Gilchrist ES, Clawson ES, and Willadsen ES are closed.  Impacted bus route riders are being contacted by District Transportation staff.  Stay warm and be safe.

Here's an update as of 7:45, thanks to Jerrad Anderson:

*I-25 between Cheyenne & Wheatland has reopened as of 7:38 a.m.
*I-80 WB between Cheyenne & Laramie is CLOSED
*I-80 between Laramie & Rawlins is CLOSED
*US 287 between Laramie & Rock River is CLOSED

WYDOT is reporting hundreds of stranded motorists along I-80. If you or anyone you know is stuck along the highway, please let us know so we can alert authorities. Conditions are expected to improve later today.
