Almost a quarter in our poll don’t believe Josh Allen is still going to be picked in the first round of the NFL draft. (And they aren’t the only ones.) Of our 425 voters, however, the other 328 believe Josh is still going in round one, and most of them say Top 10.

An NCAA quarterback can go to the NFL before using only four years of eligibility. While still in school, his game usually improves quick each year, right? Well, that didn’t happen for our Cowboy quarterback Josh Allen in 2017. He saw better stats in 2016. That is not to say Josh didn’t improve his overall game, but his on-field stats went a bit south. Leaving some to scratch their heads about how high he goes in the draft.

Coach Bohl told Sports Illustrated, “We had an exodous,” referring to Josh losing so many talented team mates to the NFL.

It would be wrong not to mention Allen did still lead the Pokes to 7 of 10 victories and two losses involved powerhouses (Iowa and Oregon). So it would only be right to also ask, “How did they do that, after having the offense gutted?” The answer is simple. A gut-it-out quarterback kept the chains moving.

… Go Pokes, and go Josh, whoever picks you, no matter how high, and we say that should still be pretty high. … Even if 24 percent say you won’t go first round. The rest of us still do. Here are the rest of our poll results:

Josh is still a Top 10 pick …………… 107 votes ……….. 25.18 Percent

Late in the first round ……………….. 103 votes ……..... 24.24 Percent

Not even first round, or worse …........102 votes ………. 24.00 Percent

Easily Top 5 ……………………….…..65 votes ………….15.29 Percent

Josh will still go #1 ………………….. 48 votes …………. 11.29 Percent
