Wyoming State Museum Presents Free Lecture on History of Vedauwoo Tonight

Have you ever wondered about the history of the rocks of Vedauwoo?

Tonight the Wyoming State Museum kicks off their 2013 Lecture Series with Roger Ludwig discussing the history of Vedauwoo and the Pole Mountain area.

The lecture is free and starts at 7 p.m. in the Barrett Building‘s Multipurpose room.Ludwig is a local psychotherapist and outdoor enthusiast and he’ll be talking about this unique area’s military, mining, ranching, Civilian Conservation Corps and entertainment history.

The lecture is titled ‘A Treasure Hunt for the Weird and Wonderful at Pole Mountain and Vedauwoo.
