The Wyoming Stock Growers Association has endorsed Matt Mead in his run for Governor.

In his letter of support, Jim Magagna, Executive Vice President of the Wyoming Stock Growers, said, “Governor, you have stepped forward at critical times to address challenges faced by Wyoming ranchers. Successful delisting and state management of wolves stands as a highlight of your success.” Magagna went on to cite Matt Mead’s steadfast support of Wyoming agriculture and his consistent open discussion about ag and its contributions to our state.

Governor Mead said he is "honored to receive this early endorsement,” He added “my grandfather was a member of this important group. My parents were members and so too are Carol and I. The Stock Growers represent not only Wyoming’s history and heritage but our future as well.”
