Wyoming Winter Weather And Road Conditions

6 days in front of the beginning of winter, we have a few inches of fresh snow on the ground.

Southeastern Wyoming will be mostly cloudy but warmer today with highs in the 40s and possible blowing snow this afternoon.

Later tomorrow we’ll have bitter cold and a little more snow.

Although temperatures are expected to warm up later today, your early morning commute is a little dicey with some snowfall in various areas, along with slick spots and black ice advisories.

I-80

I-80 is wet with slick spots and blowing  snow in spots between Laramie and Cheyenne, black ice advisories are in effect along that stretch,  then you have slick spots on I-80 as you you’re your way east into Pine Bluffs and to the Nebraska State Line

I-25

I-25 is slick in spots between Cheyenne and the Colorado State Line,  slick with snow and blowing snow I-25 between Cheyenne and Wheatland, then you have slick spots with snowfall in spots on i-25 further north through Douglas, Glenrock and Casper

Hwy 85

Hwy 85 slick Cheyenne and the Colorado State Line,  Hwy 85 is slick in spots with snowfall between Cheyenne and Meriden

Hwy 287

Hwy 287 is slick between Laramie and the Colorado State Line

We’re still expecting more snowfall later this afternoon as well as on Friday, which will add to the already slick road conditions, we’ll keep you up to date throughout the day!
