Every season should have a beer. thrillist.com put together a list of the perfect summer beers from each state that may not be the best beer, but a beer that defines the summer, beers that somehow taste better when the sun's beating down, the BBQ is fired up, or you're just kind of lazily floating on a river.

Naturally, I went to the end of the list immediately and found Wyoming is recognized with Jackson’s Snake River Monarch, a pilsner with 5% alcohol by volume.

Wyoming has some surprisingly great beer. Not a bad problem to have. The state's oldest brewery, Snake River, happens to have a gold-medal Pilsner that's just about the perfect American take on the Czech classic.”

“This Pilsner wins summer in a state that might be one of the best summer destinations in the US.”
