Wyoming's annual Pedigree Stage Stop Dog Sled Race came to a conclusion last week, beginning and ending in Teton County.

This year's course around Wyoming featured stops in Alpine, Kemmerer, Big Piney, Pinedale, Lander and an out-of-state trip to Driggs, Idaho.

Lina Streeper took the overall championship for a second year in a row with a seven day time of 22:15:00. Streeper is a British Columbia native who has been racing since age 12.

Dave Torgerson was runner-up with a time of 22:37:34. Bruce Magnusson finished with the bronze at a time of 22:41:13. Torgerson is from Red Lodge, Montana and Magnusson is from Manchester, Michigan.

Boundurant, Wyoming native Alix Crittenden finished in fourth place with a time of 22:54:11.

The first prize award was $10,000.00. Second prize collected $8,300.00, and third $6,650.00.
