There are a lot of attractive aspects to Colorado. I know because I lived there for many years. But I left there with my wife for life in Wyoming. We liked the people and other things here and now, we have another thing to like about Wyoming; No state income tax.

The IRS wants your money, and they will get it. They've got what it takes to take what you've got. But with those taxes due Monday, April 18th, here is some good news. The Colorado state tax is 4.63%. A couple making say, $100K in Colorado, will pay (without deductions) $4,231.82. If they live in Denver, add another 4%, or $4,000.

Living in Wyoming? Priceless. Keeping a large chunk of your paycheck? $8,231.82.

Let ‘er buck, and keep a lot those for yourself.
