Identity Theft and Speeding: A Special Kind Of Stupid

Central Press Getty Images

To drive at 110 in a 65 mph zone while you’re carrying all kinds of identity theft materials, practically begs the police to pull you ove. It takes a really special kind of stupid to make yourself such an obvious target (and I won’t get into the idiocy of toying in identity theft).

Here’s to the Wyoming State Patrol, who were able to apprehend three Floridians in their 20s who were not only in possession of stolen account information with names, maiden names, credit card information, social security numbers and phony accounts that had been created using those names… but who were also obviously speeding.

Friday. It was a good day.
